Introducing Mokita, South By Sea's latest signing, who recently collaborated with label mate KAPTAN to out-turn a track that could appeal to your world of fantasy and imagination.
“I’ve played some shows with KAPTAN earlier this year and we've talked about doing a collaboration for a while. The idea of the song is pretty simple. It's just a call to keep going no matter what the circumstances. There are so many elements in life that can easily drag you down, but you just have to dig deep and keep on keeping on.” - Mokita
Júníus Meyvant is back with his new single 'Neon Experience'. By incorporating various fragments of soul, folk, pop and indie together, the result presents his creative abilities of the highest order. There’s depth, there’s feeling and intricacy, which the listener can wrap their ears in. The Aloe Blacc-style vocal performance with the Graffiti6-esque hooks, despite being 6 minutes long, can be heard repeatedly whilst retaining its magic. Oh, and there’s a mid-tempo sonic surprise in the middle…
'Neon Experience' is available TODAY, very much increasing the appetite for the LP Floating Harmonies, out 8th July.
A musical corporate entity for the modern day, POLSKY have revealed their quirky new video for 'Switchboard Operator', the first track to be taken from their debut album My Own Company released 13th May 2016 via PRODUCT.
Check out the new video from London Indie Soul 2-piece Juke Jaxon, 'Memory Man'. About the track, Juke Jaxon tell us that "Memory Man is a personification of how much our lives can be effected/influenced by just a singular person. Being that the lyrics are quite personal, we wanted the video to captivate that in the best way possible. We created a concept and pitched it out to a bunch of directors, and we loved the approach Lukasz came back with. He delivered a great concept with a few twists that allows the viewer to perceive it how they wish. In the video we follow the story of an older character who we learn is an assassin. He takes a young lad under his wing and trains him to be an assassin himself. The older character plants a seed for his future courage.''
