Following last year’s sensational Noonia EP, Swedish artist and songwriter Noonie Bao is back with a heady, energetic slice of pop in the form of new single ‘Reminds Me’, as debuted on Charli XCX’s Beats 1 show and out now via her freshly launched imprint 2ManyFreckles.
“The film Jane Eyre with Mia Wasikowska was a great inspiration for this production.” explains Noonie, “I wanted it to sound like the dark woods, huge castles and desperation. The song is about that, about preferring to feel pain rather than not knowing anything at all. I call it Castle Pop”.
