Something Leather Share Lullaby

Something Leather have shared their new single, ‘Lullaby’. Hailed as one of the most exciting bands on the Brighton music scene, the track is the latest dose of their uniquely dark, trippy alternative rock, released via We Can Do It Records.

With an eerie intro giving way to explosive guitar riffs, driving organs and thumping drums, ‘Lullaby’ rejects the comforting implications of its name to deliver a jarring, haunting and infectious track infused with gothic undertones.

Something Leather have recently supported a multitude of upcoming bands including the likes of Black Midi, Calva Louise, Valeras, Phobophobes, Madonnatron, Saint Agnes and JOHN, gaining a significant buzz since the release of their debut single ‘Shotgun Persona’.

With a unique brand of dark pop led by the sound of their beloved ‘70s Phillips organ, which is fixed up with old parts of singer Phillie’s grandmother’s first colour TV, Something Leather’s authentic sound is completed by a bass organ, untamed baritone guitar noise and relentless drumming, contributing to an explosive live show.

Taking influence from the likes of The Kills, Wolf Alice and The Pixies, Something Leather infuse the urgency of Yak with the Swagger of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and will be showcasing their infectious sounds on a run of shows throughout November.
