Subculture Sage reveal single ‘Rude Thai Shit’

Subculture Sage reveal the first single ‘Rude Thai Shit’, from their brand new T A K E 3 E P. Reminiscent of the ‘90s MPC/Boom Bap era of their childhood, the London duo have toured all over Europe with this song for over 3 years opening for the likes of The Pharcyde, Dead Prez and Pharoah Monch. The track has also had mastering support from ‘Firehouse’, the studio responsible for Wu-Tang Clan’s ’36 Chambers’ and Mobb Deep’s ‘The Infamous’.

Hailed by Wonderland as "the hottest duo in British Hip Hop", the duo have garnered support from Zane Lowe, Gilles Peterson, Complex, Noisey and Majestic Casual for their continually evolving London-centric post hip hop sound. Marking their newest full body of work since the release of their debut mixtape Big Smoke Autumn Blues which was described by Complex as "a shining example of what UK Hip Hop can be when left to it's own instincts”; the duo continue sparring their uncompromising DIY ethic of innovation.

With a string of self-releases scheduled for the rest of 2017, their next London headline show at the Camden Assembly on the 10th May and their first Glastonbury appearance, 2017 is looking to be a strong year for the pair.

T A K E 3 E P is out 16th June 2017.
