Nominations Open For Alternative Power List

Following the incredible feedback of its 2017 inauguration shesaid.so will be launching the 2018 edition of the Alternative Power 100 Music List. Nominations are open now at http://www.shesaid.so/alternative-power-100-music-list-2018-nominations
This year's overarching theme is 'Intersections'. Inspired by values the shesaidso community was built upon, they will be paying tribute to the marginalized communities who showed resilience in these past twelve months. Nominations are welcome for all gender identities, with a focus on but not limited to, POC, LGBTQ+, those with disabilities and those people working in emerging markets where access to resources is tough. It is a reminder of the commitment shesaidso made last year in regards to diversity and inclusion and is a celebration of the music industry's underdogs.
Speaking about the Alt List, shesaid.so founder Andreea Magdalina explains "It is an effort to challenge the traditional definition of power and give it a new, alternative meaning. We aim for it to act as a positive contribution to the diversity conversation and encourage solutions that will result in growth and progress across the board."
Nominations are open until 11:59pm GMT on March 1. The 2018 list will be announced on March 8.
