Alma’s New Video For 'Phases'

Rising pop sensation Alma shares the Charli XCX directed music video for her new single ‘Phases’ today. Featuring rap heavyweight French Montana, the video was shot in NYC and London and depicts a raucous 24-hour house party. Produced by Charlie Handsome, (Drake, Mac Miller), the turbo charged ‘Phases (ft. French Montana)’ is set to continue Alma’s incredible momentum as she leads the charge of a new generation of fierce pop music.

Phases follows the release of Alma’s critically acclaimed debut single ‘Chasing Highs’ and debut EP Dye My Hair. Since the release of Dye My Hair,  Alma has garnered over 150 million combined Spotify plays, while the release of ‎’Chasing Highs’ has seen her become a mainstay on UK radio playlists across the board, top iTunes singles charts in territories around the world, and be awarded certified Silver status in the UK (with sales of over 250, 000).

Alma has been championed by everyone from Annie Mac and MistaJam through Interview magazine, The Line Of Best Fit and i-D to Elton John. Following on from supporting fellow maverick Scandinavian on tour and performing alongside Jorja Smith and The Amazons at the Radio 1 Future Festival, this summer saw Alma hit the road to play at an extensive string of Pan European Festival dates (including Reading & Leeds and Bestival), and headline shows such as the recently sold out date at London’s XOYO.

Every so often a new pop star explodes out of nowhere, re-shaping people’s expectations and creating a new page in the rulebook in the process. Alma – a 20-year old with bright neon green hair, a magnetic attitude and a voice that could demolish buildings – is that new pop star.
