London Lads The Turning Release I Don't Wanna Do That As Free Download
Following their passion for early sixties mod and late seventies punk, The Turning have been able to develop their own fusion of great melodies and hooks without ever losing their undeniable punk energy and urgency.
Taking influence from a plethora genres: beat music of the '60s, Motown and the Mod Revival of the late 70's, the 90’s Brit Rock scene, the band refused to be bogged down the confines of any one genre, or even decade. More recently, taking inspiration from contemporary acts such as Miles Kane, The Strypes, and Arctic Monkeys.
Their latest release 'I Don't Wanna Do That' is a available as a free download here. It combines quirky riffs with youthful energy, resulting in a beautifully retrospective single.
The Turning had a very busy 2014 having gigged extensively around the UK and Europe including a tour with their mates in The Strypes. But 2015 is proving to be even busier, as they get back on the road for a headline tour of their own.
