Then Comes Silence Release Video For 'Good Friday'

Swedish post punk/dark wave masters Then Comes Silence have released the official music video for their brand new single 'Good Friday'. The track is taken from the forthcoming album, Blood. Founded in 2012 in Stockholm by singer and main songwriter Alex Svenson, Then Comes Silence have released three albums since and gathered an ever-growing following within the international scene.

Band leader Svenson shares his personal story about the inspirations behind this emotionally dark tune: "I'd just started writing on the new album when my father suddenly passed away. He lived thousands of miles away from me and we didn't keep in touch as much as we should have. I've understood now that he needed someone to talk to.

Writing the album became a healing process. I miss him a lot and fortunately he pops up in my dreams every now and then. That's basically what 'Good Friday' is about." Blood will be released on October 20 worldwide via Nuclear Blast.

The track list for the album racks up as follows:

01. The Dead Cry For No One

02. Flashing Pangs Of Love

03. Strange Kicks

04. My Bones

05. In Leash

06. Choose Your Poison

07. Good Friday

08. The Rest Will Follow

09. Magnetic

10. Warm Like Blood

11. Mercury

Cheap Trick Announce New Album

Cheap Trick will rock in the Yuletide season with the release of their first holiday themed album Christmas Christmas, out October 20th on Big Machine Records. Arriving mere months after their critically acclaimed 18th studio album We’re All Alright!, Cheap Trick co-produced the holiday collection alongside their longtime collaborator, GRAMMY® Award winner Julian Raymond (Glen Campbell, Fastball).

With Christmas Christmas, Cheap Trick delivers a sleigh-full of rock & roll Christmas classics and festive favourites as well as newly penned offerings like the joyous lead track, ‘Merry Christmas Darlings’. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers – whose four decade-plus career has seen them play more than 5,000 shows and counting – remain on the road this autumn for a string of U.S. headline dates, festival appearances and as special guests on Nickelback’s ‘Feed The Machine’ arena tour.
