A Pale Horse Named Death Love The Ones You Hate

A Pale Horse Named Death share their new single ‘Love The Ones You Hate’. It's the first track taken from the third studio album, When The World Becomes Undone, which will be released on January 18 via Long Branch Records / SPV.

Singer and guitarist Sal Abruscato says “‘Love The Ones You Hate’ is one of my favourite songs. Brings back the early ‘90s alternative goth metal that inspired us back then. The song is about moving on from friends that have intentionally hurt or betray you and it’s time to forget them, let go of the grudge and the hate towards them. I wrote this song at my home in Upstate NY and finally had the fuel to finish the lyrics this past year."

Beauty often blossoms at the root of darkness. A Pale Horse Named Death siphon strangely blissful melodies from apocalyptic heavy metal awash in swells of cavernous gothic keys and grunge song-craft.  The band continue to excavate vulnerability from venom on their anxiously awaited third full-length album.

A delicate dichotomy drives the avowed and acclaimed “Brooklyn Lords of Doom”. “It’s our signature combination of seemingly depressing and dark musical tones with unexpectedly pretty melodies,” affirms Sal Abruscato. “There’s a hypnotic phenomenon that happens when you take super heavy riffs and add a harmonic sensibility. It allows you to drift off and zone out.”

The new album was mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Meat Loaf, Yes, Sepultura, Halford etc.) at Maor Appelbaum Mastering while the artwork was once again created by Sam Shearon (Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, Cradle of Filth etc.).

Bad Religion Share ‘My Sanity’

Bad Religion have released another new single titled ‘My Sanity’. Previously, Bad Religion released ‘The Profane Rights of Man’, a “short, fast, and packed with righteous harmonies” track according to Consequence of Sound. Additionally, the band released ‘The Kids Are Alt-Right’, a “catchy and deeply satisfying melody-surge about new permutations of racism” as reported by Stereogum.

Bad Religion began in the sprawling suburbs surrounding Los Angeles, with the teenage punks offering an impassioned counterpoint to a culture of consumerism and anti-intellectualism. Founding members Greg Graffin, Brett Gurewitz, and Jay Bentley were eventually joined by guitarists Brian Baker of Minor Threat, Mike Dimkich of The Cult, and the supremely talented drummer Jamie Miller of …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead.

Bad Religion have been highly influential force in modern punk, producing beloved international hits like ‘Infected’, ‘21st Century (Digital Boy)’, and ‘Sorrow’, and building a devoted worldwide following.
