Kazyak is an indie rock band based in the Twin Cities. The band has recorded two EPs and an LP and  finds it's source in a deep pool of experimental music. The live lineup includes: Peter Frey (guitar), Andy Wolfe (guitar), Pat Hayes (synth, piano), Tyler Safranek (bass), and Nick Grewe (drums). 

The band finds a large source of inspiration in Midwestern music, drawing on the abstract side of  Bob  Dylan's songwriting and lofty sonic architecture from the likes of 12 Rods, Fat Kid Wednesdays, Tiki Obmar, Halloween and Alaska. The group has shared the stage with many, including LA indie rockers Local Natives and Duluth-based Trampled by Turtles.

‘Our Daydream’ is a song-gift to songwriter-guitarist Peter Frey's wife, Flor. The song displays Frey’s earliest memories of falling in love with Flor and their union as a link in a long chain. The recording contains an optimistic ending led by a subdued, minimalistic, lost-in-space synth. The video features footage from their wedding.

Jawbreaker, the seminal American punk rock band, have announced details of their first UK show in 25 years, taking place at O2 Academy Brixton, London on Saturday April 27. Widely credited with being a major influence not just on modern punk rock but also the burgeoning emo movement of the time, this is the band’s first concert outside of North America since re-uniting to triumphantly headline the 2017 version of Riot Fest in Chicago.

The band are made up of Blake Schwarzenbach (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Bauermeister (bass, backing vocals) and Adam Pfahler (drums) and shot to fame with albums including 24 Hour Revenge Therapy (1994), which was recorded with the legendary producer and engineer Steve Albini and the seminal 1995 album Dear You.

Jawbreaker’s extensive catalogue includes tracks such as ‘Boxcar’, ‘Kiss The Bottle’, ‘The Boat Dreams from the Hill’, ‘Accident Prone’, ‘Basilica’, ‘Fireman’ and more.
