Panther Modern Shares ‘Ask Yourself’

Brady Keehn AKA Panther Modern reveals a new single / video called ‘Ask Yourself’ and has announced debut UK and European tour dates for early next year, supporting Black Marble.

Panther Modern is a new audio/visual project by Brady Keehn (of LA outfit Sextile).  Following the self-release of his debut EP, Los Angeles 2020 in May, he presents the video for ‘Ask Yourself’. The track finds him delving into an aesthetic-fuelled augmentation of the mind, distorting reality by fusing contemporary AR video techniques & creative pulsations that only a crew of neo-noir personas could produce - an escapist techno-colour dreamscape.

The audio/visual concept presented in the new video is a neon-laced look into the future-past from the fragmented minds of directors Nedda Afsari & Brady Keehn, starring Reggie Watts, Brandon Pierce (Glaare) & Gabby (Girlpusher) along with the directors themselves. The track was written, recorded and produced by Brady Keehn and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher, Ninos Du Brasil, Merchandise) during Summer 2019.

Panther Modern live dates:

02nd Feb - Bristol, UK - The Crofter's Rights

03rd Feb - Manchester, UK - Soup Kitchen

04th Feb - Glasgow, UK - Broadcast

05th Feb - Sheffield, UK - Record Junkee

06th Feb - London, UK - Studio 9294

Prong Announces Age Of Defiance EP

American power trio Prong has released Age Of Defiance, a new EP featuring two brand-new studio recordings and three live cuts.

The new five-track EP opens with the title song ‘Age Of Defiance’, which Tommy Victor describes as “pretty unusual for Prong”. “It’s extremely powerful, with a great groove, haunting chorus, everything’s fresh and contemporary.”

According to the Prong mastermind, the second studio number ‘End Of Sanity’ is “a thrash/hardcore/crossover number in typical Prong style which I wrote especially for our American tour with Agnostic Front. If you’re into Prong, you’ll love this track.”

Age Of Defiance also features three live cuts, recorded by Victor & co. during their major headlining tour at Berlin club Huxleys Neue Welt in April 2015: ‘Rude Awakening’ from the same-named 1996 opus, plus ‘Another Worldly Device’ and ‘Cut Rate’ from the 1994 major label album release Cleansing. A total of five songs which forge an arc between past, present and future.

PRONG on tour with UNEARTH 2020:
