Hymner release their second single ‘Bicycle’ ft. Alessandra via Tenacity Records – part of TEN Music Group (Zara Larsson, Icona Pop, Nikki and the Dove). The Finnish, Stockholm-based duo released their debut single ‘Apart’ ft. Bast during the summer of 2017. ‘Bicycle’ is instantly recognizable as a Hymner track; they have expertly crafted their own unique style of writing.
‘Bicycle’ showcases Alessandra’s glassy vocals, which are married with the unique, effective amalgamation of offbeat acoustic steel-string guitar picking, and upbeat synthesized percussion. Alessandra’s vocals are dreamlike and really thicken the underlying melancholic texture of the single. Her 2017 single ‘Your River’ was described by NYLON as ‘a song to get lost in… this is good music’.
