Capital X New Single ‘In Us We Trust’

‘In Us We Trust’ was born in the wake of a presidential pussy-grab scandal and in support of the mobilisation of movements for egalitarianism everywhere. In this global rallying cry, Capital X call activists for equality and justice to arms.
Following on from ‘Diamond Hard’, Capital X deliver more of their trademark grimey, basslines and snappy vocal hooks with urgency, blending them with heavy drum loops and punchy leads; added to the mix in this time around are more emotionally charged vocal lines, particularly prominent in the outro, where they serve as a backdrop for a list of some of the band’s most-wanted females.
Audio & visual artists such as M.I.A., Sleaford Mods, Run The Jewels, Shaltmira, Laura Callaghan and Frank Kozik all serve as inspiration for Julz B (vocals/keys/programming) and Ruby C (keys/art/backing vocals). Capital X continue to replicate their musical content in strong and bold imagery, with all IUWT art by Ruby C. Self-released, the track was produced, mixed and mastered by Capital X.
