Membranes Announce Very Special Hometown Show

The Membranes play their biggest hometown show to date on Saturday April 29th at The Ritz, Manchester. One of the loudest bands on the planet, if not the universe, have announced a show at Manchester's O2 Ritz on April 29th 2017. Fronted by musician, journalist and author John Robb, will play their highly acclaimed album Dark Matter/Dark Energy in full, as well as screening their Universe Explained film.

The show, which is set to sell out, will see the band play the whole of their critically acclaimed album accompanied by a 25 piece choir. This ambitious approach to their live shows has already proved to be a huge hit with audiences at festivals in the UK and across Europe, generating unanimously positive reviews.

The highly influential and groundbreaking Manchester band reformed four years ago after one of their many influences, My Bloody Valentine, invited them to perform at ATP Festival. Support comes from Brix and the Extricated, Evil Blizzard, Dub Sex, The Nightingales, The Blinders and The Empty Page.
