Black Needle Noise And Fakeba Release 'System Bi'

Producer John Fryer, a living legend in his own right, is always at the forefront of new sounds and trends. He's shown it time and again from his early days producing the likes of Depeche Mode, Dead Can Dance and Cocteau Twins to Nine Inch Nails, Love and Rockets and HIM. His latest project, for which he is both musician and producer (as was the case with This Mortal Coil previously), is Black Needle Noise.
On 'SyStem Bi', Dakar-based Fakeba sings in her native Wolof language, emitting radiant energy and a coherent and authentic fusion between genres and continents, merging tradition with futurism. This single is perfectly complemented by a video by Gina Czarnecki (derived from her film, Spintex, encapsulating the multiple, interconnected daily rhythms of physicality and mortality.
"I was very interested in having Fakeba sing in Wolof and complement the full beauty of the vocals as possible. I don't want to have any limitations with Black Needle Noise and am interested in working with more singers from around the world, singing in their own language," explains John Fryer.
