Hope to see you there!” You can also catch Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers at this years Reading and Leeds festivals.

Laura Jane Grace & the Devouring Mothers have also released an animated music video for ‘The Hotel Song, taken from their acclaimed debut album. Created by longtime collaborator Margherita Ballarin, the video is a moody visual complimenting the stark nature of the song’s lyrics that encourage forward movement in one’s life despite constant resentment and disappointment.

“ ‘The Hotel Song’ is my tribute to hotel and motel rooms across the world,” Grace says. “Regardless of bed sheet thread count, shampoo and conditioner quality, or Wi-Fi speed, I am thankful for all the rented rooms that have offered me refuge and rest over the years while touring across the world.”

Written and recorded at a breakneck pace, Bought to Rot is an album propelled by a sense of restless, forward motion and the inherent need for Grace to continue evolving as an artist and person the only way she knows how. “I don’t want to write about these same things anymore,” she continues. “I need some new sources of inspiration. And I don’t want to be negative. I want to write some positive, happy songs, and I wanted that to be inspired by positive, happy living, too.”
