Millie Manders; Sunshine, Lollipops & Live Dates
- Written by Marky Edison
Millie Manders And The Shutup return with new single 'Lollipops', the second to be taken from the bands recent EP release, Shutup. “'Lollipops' was written as the bombs started to rain down on Syria and children’s bodies started washing up on our shores. The song is a reflection of the band’s anger towards those who are bombing innocents daily.” states vocalist Millie Manders.
The band's new material has already been aired and championed on John Kennedy’s Radio X Show. John declared his love for the new material stating; “I knew she was a star!”
‘Lollipops’ is a marriage of pop punk and ska punk with soaring vocals and some raw lyrics as the bands declare their political perspective. Millie Manders And The Shutup have gained a reputation for their high energy live performances, ballsy material and will see 2018 out the only way they know how to by playing to as many crowds as possible on the run up to Christmas.
