Metal Allegiance Announce New Album

Metal Allegiance began as a celebration of heavy metal, powered by the almost tribal bond shared between the extreme music community‘s most revered trailblazers, armed with a list of contributors onstage (and off) that read like a Wikipedia entry on the genre itself.

The band is proud to announce the release of their second album, Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty, via Nuclear Blast Entertainment on September 7. The thrash worshiping album merges old-school legends with the modern metallers of the scene to produce groove driven, adrenaline soaked anthems while tackling the frustrating state of the world. The list of musicians for Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty include Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder), John Bush (Armored Saint), Bobby "BLITZ" Ellsworth (Overkill), Mark Tornillo (Accept), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Floor Jansen (Nightwish) and Johan Hegg (Amon). It also marks the return of Mark Oseguesda (Death Angel) and Troy Sanders (Mastodon).

Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty was produced by Mark Menghi and Alex Skolnick while Mark Lewis of MRL Studios handled the mixing and mastering. The cover artwork was created by renowned artist Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Machine Head, Soulfly, Hatebreed) and Rafael Tavares.

1. The Accuser (feat. Trevor Strnad)

Folly Rae Debuts Extended Sniper Music Video

After setting the internet alight with her colourful video for ‘Sniper’, Folly Rae reveals an extended short film version of the video today.

Complimenting the female empowerment anthem, this bold new visual sees Folly Rae performing at a strange hotel in the Californian desert, where the staff vie for her affections by taking her on a string of dates. However, things don’t go to plan when the upbeat tale takes a dark twist. ‘Sniper’ is out now on Black Butter (Zara Larsson, J Hus).

Black Butter- the tastemakers behind Zara Larsson and J Hus- snapped up Folly Rae in 2017 after she released her debut EP, Money & Power, which featured production from the likes of Nana Rogues (the genius behind Tinie Tempah’s ‘Girls Like’ and Drake’s ‘Passionfruit’). Folly has since been supported by the likes of BBC Music Introducing on Radio 1 and 1Xtra, headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury festival and won over Huw Stephens and DJ Target.
