FM2000 Announce ‘Hubba Bubba Rehab’

FM2000 is a rising cult band from Pieksämäki, Finland. They release their new studio album Hubba Bubba Rehab on October 13 through Inverse Records.

The album is their seventh full length and contains 11 tracks of independent heavy punk. The main theme of the "Hubba Bubba Rehab" is feminity. Musically, the album appears far heavier than the previous record, Carina II.

Their new heavier direction was decided upon at the production phase with the band's trusted producer Teemu Nykänen. With one eye on international success, the choice was a natural one for FM2000.

Daphne & The Golden Chord Working With Tony Visconti

'Remember To Breathe' is the first track to emerge from new Daphne & The Golden Chord album It's A Riot (due for release in March 2018). Produced by Visconti, the track arrives alongside this kaleidoscopic video made by The Fashtons (AlunaGeorge, Django Django), which opens to the sounds of Tony's breathing, & closes out to a surreal sequence which captures him practising Tai Chi inside front-woman Daphne Guinness' head.

It's A Riot is an extension of Daphne's collaboration with Bowie's right hand man, which began when Visconti came onboard to produce her critically-applauded 2016 debut Optimist In Black. Tony says of their first meeting; "I took an instant liking to her - she played a demo of her track ‘Evening In Space’ and that blew my mind. Based on that one song I wanted to work with her”.

There's a little more below on the album, which Daphne & Visconti recorded to analogue tape on old consoles used variously to record The Beatles' Abbey Road and Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.
