Scars Of Solitude Announce Deformation

Scars of Solitude’s debut album, Deformation, will be released on December 1 via Inverse Records. The band was formed in January 2015 and has stood firmly and proud behind its music ever since. Scars of Solitude is a melodic metal quintet from Äänekoski, Finland,  playing music rooted deep in the Finnish melancholy. Their music sounds like autumn - it's kinda dark, rainy and cold but still rich in both beauty and colour despite all the despair.

Even though many of its members have come and gone, the founding members; Tuomo Laulainen, Niki Kuivakangas, and Lassi Pollari, have remained since the birth of the band. Now the core trio are accompanied by the talented Mikko Ruuska on vocals and Antti Kettunen on rhythm guitar.

“Music can be like a graveyard for your emotions. You dump them in there and revisit once in a while if you wish. Some you need to bury alive, some might crawl back to haunt you. These songs have been cold and pale waiting for their burial for a long time. Now it's time for you to start digging.”

The Stoles Herald The Age Of Deception

Dublin Alt Rockers The Stoles have announced their new single, ‘Age of Deception’. It’s the third single, and title track, from the band’s upcoming debut album, which is due for release in February. The track will be out on iTunes, Spotify and other major digital stores on December 1 on US label Spectra Music Group.

The track was written by The Stoles and recorded at Red Lake recording studio, produced  & mixed by Modest Prophet, and mastered by Masterlab, with artwork by Massimiliano Veltri.

Coinciding with the release, the band will headline Dublin's newest music venue, Underground, on Friday December 1. The three-piece band with hit singles ‘Getaway’, ‘Evelyn’, and new release ‘Age of Deception’, will be supported by fellow Dublin acts Elga Fox and Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra on what promises to be a great night for music lovers.
