Broken Hope’s Jeremy Wagner Releases New Horror Novel

“How far would you go for love when all you love is DEAD? Six months after the Necro Rabies pandemic turned the world into hordes of rabid undead known as 'Cujos', 21-year-old Rhonda Driscoll discovers her zombified fiancé, Brad, in her old hometown. Fearing that her Marine Colonel father will kill undead Brad, Rhonda flees, taking a road-trip with Brad in tow in hopes of starting a new life in a frightening and uncertain world complicated by numerous perils, pure horror and unconditional love.”

Founding father and current member of renowned death metal band, Broken Hope, and author of Barnes & Noble Top 10 Paperback Bestseller The Armageddon Chord, Jeremy Wagner, will release his new horror novel, Rabid Heart – a novel about the depth of undying love in the midst of a zombie apocalypse on October 3, via the Afraid Horror Imprint of Riverdale Avenue Books.

Rabid Heart author Jeremy Wagner says, "I had a solid draft of Rabid Heart cooling for a while as I worked on some other projects for a couple years. Once I came back to revise and polish Rabid Heart, I fell hard for it all over again and knew I had something special. I love f-ed up stories... I write f-ed up things. My style of fiction and my personal tastes in what I read all leans towards really dark fiction and usually has protagonists who go through hell – there’s a lot of that in Rabid Heart. The things that my main character Rhonda Driscoll goes through might fit in nicely with say, McCarthy’s The Road pairing with 28 Days Later or Romero’s Day of the Dead. I hope you all enjoy the ride.”

Wagner has written lyrics to hundreds of songs spanning several albums with his internationally-renowned death metal band, Broken Hope. Music aside, Wagner writes dark fiction and short works full time. Wagner's novel, The Armageddon Chord, peaked at #4 on Barnes & Noble’s Top 10 paperback Bestseller List and peaked at #9 on Barnes & Noble’s Top 100 overall Bestseller List in the first week of release. The novel also earned a Hiram Award, a first-round ballot Stoker Award Nomination, and received critical acclaim in Publisher's Weekly and Rolling Stone, among many other worldwide media outlets.

Where's My Bible Present Mosh ‘N’ Roll

Where’s My Bible is a Finnish metal band formed in Heinola 2014. Their music blends rock and punk influences with death/black metal. Originally formed with the intention to just have fun and play, the thought of being taken seriously quickly kicked in.

While building up a repertoire of material, WMB’s original drummer decided to leave the band for personal reasons. It didn’t take long for the band to find their current drummer, adding the double bass drums and blastbeats necessary for the band to find their style. Soon after WMB found their bassist, who after their first practice session together was added to the band, bringing the band to a full lineup. And so Where’s My Bible was born, and it wasn’t long until the now complete band found themselves recording their first EP. Released in early 2016, The Beginning was a major milestone for the band, which is reflected in the title itself.

And so it began. Where’s My Bible made their live debut in the spring of 2016 in their hometown of Heinola. The band continued to play assorted shows during the year, and ended up recording a new song. Featuring Leevi Luoto of One Morning Left fame, ‘Failure’ was accompanied by the band’s first music video directed by the young and talented Olli Tiainen. Moving on to 2017, the band entered the inaugural Tuska-Torstai competition hosted by the Tuska Open Air metal festival, winning the contest by storm and securing a spot opening the main stage.

The band started off 2018 by starting the recording of their debut album, while also taking part in the annual Emergenza festival, finishing in third place. The band also got to experience their first taste of playing abroad, making an appearance at the Russian Emergenza final. The band is set to release their debut album M’N’R (“Mosh ‘N’ Roll”), an energetic and upbeat, yet stout representation of the band’s sound in the fall of 2018.
