Suzi Quatro Signs With SPV/Steamhammer

Suzi Quatro more than lives up to her name as “Queen Of Rock N' Roll”. The American musician has been in the music business for more than 50 years, delivering her greatest hits such as ‘Can The Can’, ‘48 Crash’, ‘If You Can't Give Me Love’, 'She's In Love With You' and ‘Devil Gate Drive’ with unbridled energy, mixing them with her current material. March 29 will see the arrival of her new studio album No Control on SPV/Steamhammer, the lead single ‘No Soul/No Control’ is scheduled for release on February 15. No Control features, for the first time, a collaboration with her son, Richard Tuckey.

Suzi plans to present a couple of choices from her new album during her major UK/Australian/European tour this year: “I’ve never stopped releasing through the years. Back To The Drive in 2006, In The Spotlight in 2011, Quatro, Scott & Powell in 2016; these albums were thought about and planned out in great detail. I’m proud of all three releases, very proud. But my new album No Control is its own animal.”

Suzi says about the signing with SPV/Steamhammer: "I am very pleased to be releasing my new album on SPV/Steamhammer. I am more than ready to rock n roll my way into 2019!” Olly Hahn (A&R/Product Manager at Steamhammer) is delighted with his latest signing: “Suzi Quatro, the ultimate Queen Of Rock N' Roll, has now joined our roster at SPV. Many of us have grown up with her fantastic hits, so did I. That’s why we feel proud and honoured to release her new studio album.”

Undercover Festival Moving to London

With a reputation for being one of the friendliest festivals out there that treats the audience and bands with a the respect they deserve, the fast rising Undercover Festival has announced an April 2019 line up many would be hard pressed to match.

Since it started in 2013, Undercover Festival has had a nomadic existence having occupied various locations on the South Coast, 2019 will be no different, upping the ante by going back to three days and also moving to the big city, relocating to The Dome and accompanying Boston Music Room in North London’s Tufnell Park.

Undercover Festival boasts main acts such as Sham 69 (Pursey, Parsons, Treganna, Guy) / Slaughter and the Dogs / Penetration / GBH plus a very strong supporting line up of bands that to any lover of alternative music will find more than appealing.

Undercover is an established small independent alternative festival that defies all other conventions and festival templates plus it is once again held undercover i.e. not outdoors so if it’s peeing down come April it’s not a problem and your beer won’t get diluted. Leave your wellies at home, and enjoy one of the best small alternative festivals London and the South East has to offer in April 2018.

The festival is one that prides itself on taking an independent and grassroots approach to things, and is always determined to be different from mainstream events, with three days of alternative action from bands you’d be highly unlikely to see on most other festival line-ups.

General admission tickets on sale now tickets are available by post / online or (paper tickets) from All Ages Records in Camden, Banquet Records in Kingston Surrey, Sounds of the Suburbs Records, Ruislip or go online to www.undercoverfest.com for more details on the line up, tickets and everything else Undercover Festival related.
