Lacuna Coil Announce New Album

Italian gothic metal icons Lacuna Coil have announced their new album Black Anima will be out on October 11 via Century Media Records. “Black Anima is all of us. It's you and it's me. It's everything we hide and fiercely expose to a world that's halfway asleep. It is the fogged mirror we are peering into searching for the truth. It's sacrifice and pain, its justice and fear, its fury and revenge, it's past and future. Human beings in the magnificence of a disturbing ambiguity.

The black core that balances it all... as without darkness light would never exist. We proudly present to you our new work and can't wait to welcome you in our embrace. We are the Anima", states Lacuna Coil frontwoman, Cristina Scabbia, about the forthcoming release.

Black Anima is the follow up to Delirium (2016). Lacuna Coil has made their mark as one of the best gothic metal bands with over a million records sold. The band has won international awards such as Best International Band (2016) and Best Live Act (2018) at the Metal Hammer Awards and Best Album (2012) at the Female Metal Voices Fest, with additional nominations for Best Italian Act (2006) at MTV Europe Music Awards and Best International Band (2012) at Revolver's Golden Gods Awards.

Thy Art Is Murder Want To Make America Hate Again

Thy Art Is Murder have delivered the music video for 'Make America Hate Again', the third single from the scorching fifth record, Human Target, set for release on July 26 via Nuclear Blast  and Human Warfare (AU/NZ).

Guitarist Andy Marsh comments, “Whilst we collectively identify as a left leaning band, this song was not written to attack those who sit on the right side of the political sphere, but as a commentary on the tactics employed by both campaigns in the most recent US presidential election. These crusades of social warfare would surely succeed in one result regardless of the victor, making people hate one another.

The blood lust of the political spectator, armed with Fox, CNN and an iPhone, was satiated with aggressive slander filled debate and fake radicalized propaganda masquerading as news, where both sides of the field rallied to provoke. Identity politics spread like the wildfires of California, smoking out people of all creeds to be branded as red or blue.

Those on the regressive left may indeed have as much to answer for as their far right opponents for creating a heaving divide in the space of public discourse, and a sustaining sense of animosity among communities around America and abroad. Polarizing leaders like Trump are, in part, a result of who we have become. Disconnected.”
