Milburn,Crash Club, Be Charlotte and more announced for Tenement Trail 2016

Scotland’s biggest independent inner-city music festival Tenement Trail has revealed the first wave of acts for the 2016 line-up.

You can expect to see newly reformed indie rock icons Milburn who will headline alongside Crash Club, Be Charlotte, Tijuana Bibles, The Lapelles, The Van T’s, Domiciles, Barrie-James O’Neil, The Bar Dogs and GANGS.

Taking place on Saturday October 8, the festival will takeover 02 ABC1, 02 ABC2, The Art School, The Art School (Vic Bar), King Tut’s, Broadcast, Nice N Sleazy and Flat 0/1.

 

Organisers have also revealed The Paper Kites, Nieves, Johnny LLyod, The Ninth Wave, A New International, Mark McGowan, Breakfast Muff, The Vegan Leather, HQFU, Lewis Capaldi, American Clay and Carousel will also play with more bands to be announced in the coming weeks.  

 

Tenement Trail Festival Director Chae Houston commented: “This is our biggest event yet! We’re delighted to have Milburn headline this year’s event and with the addition of the iconic ABC 1 venue to this year’s venues, we’re sure it’s going to be a TT to remember!”

Racing Glaciers stream new track ahead of debut album

Racing Glaciers have returned with new single 'Samadhi (So Far Away)'.

The new track is due out this June ahead of the band’s debut album release via Killing Moon on Friday August 5.

‘Samadhi (So Far Away)’ is the first glimmer of what is to come from their debut, Caught in The Strange, and is a track that pulls together all that is great about the 5-piece from Macclesfield.
