Caitlin Park - The Great Escape And Beyond

Last week we announced the final line-up for The Great Escape festival and now Caitlin Park has announced her own tour, the dates of which bracket her performance at the festival on its second day. She will be making her way through the UK from London to Eaglescliffe this May.

In 2011 Caitlin released her critically acclaimed debut album Milk Annual. She then won the prestigious 'Spirit of Qantas' award in 2012 and is now currently writing her second album, boasting even more sampling, a bigger sound and more filmic tracks.

Twenty more acts have been announced for the Beacons Festival in Skipton this August. Some of the artist from this impressive list include: Julia Holter, Lulu James, Melody’s Echo ChamberVondelpark, Menace Beach , Bill Ryder-Jones and Kult CountryThey are set to join the already amazing list of artist which includes Django Djano, Andres, BonoboSolange, John Talabot and Hookworms.

More Acts Announced for Iceland Airwaves 2013

Festival update! Reykjavík’s Iceland Airwaves have announced a bunch of new acts for the 2013 festival.

From Wednesday October 30 until Sunday November 3, the Icelandic festival will be hosted across various venues in Reykjavik and have confirmed 20 new acts including Aluna George,  Robert Forster from the legendary Go-Betweens and Liverpool’s own psych-folk trio Stealing Sheep.
