Sheafs Debut EP On Blood Records

  • Published in News

The first single from the highly anticipated debut EP from Sheffield's Sheafs on Blood Records (Dream Wife / The Blinders / The Amazons) has just been released.

The EP is produced by Tarek Musa from Spring King and the new single is 'Total Vanity'.

The whole EP has great hooks throughout matched with whip-sharp lyrics confronting the frustrations of a consumerist world that profits from people's low self-esteem and self-doubt. They're also formidable on stage. You can catch them playing a handful of shows in March in the UK (some have sold-out already) and they've just been announced to play the main stage at Tramlines Festival this summer too.

Wednesday 4th March – London, Grace

Friday 6th March – Manchester, Gulliver’s

Saturday 7th March – Nottingham, Bodega – SOLD OUT

Thursday 12th March – Sheffield, Cafe Totem – SOLD OUT

Friday 13th March – Sheffield, Café Totem – EXTRA DATE

Sunday 1st August – Sheffield, Tramlines Festival (main stage)

Sheafs Announce 2020 Live Dates

  • Published in News

Following a sensational string of packed-out shows across the UK, Sheafs announce a fresh run of shows for March 2020. With gigs planned for London, Manchester, and Nottingham, the Sheffield band will then close out the tour with a hometown headline date at Cafe Totem on March 12.

The 2020 dates follow a frenetic year for the band, that seen them release new tracks including their sensational recent single ‘Popular Music’ and ‘Care Less’, win over crammed halls at Dot2Dot in Nottingham, Manchester and Bristol, but also play to heaving hometown crowds at both Tramlines Festival in Sheffield and at their recent gig at the city’s capacious The Foundry venue. Sealing the deal on a summer of ground-breaking shows, Sheafs were also crowned ‘UK Talent Winners’ at Mad Cool Festival in Madrid this year.

The Mad Cool honour follows consistent support across major national radio station including BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart, Jack Saunders), BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins & Tom Robinson), Radio X (John Kennedy, Gordon Smart), BBC Introducing (Dean Jackson & Christian Carlisle) & Virgin Radio (Edith Bowman); support that confirms all eyes are on this most promising of bands’ every move.

Following a stint of high profile support slots with the likes of The Amazons, The Coral, and Idles, plus their recent tour with US rockers Greta Van Fleet which saw them win over audiences all over Europe, the band now look to channel all of their energy and experience into some unmissable shows in the new year.
