Full 2014 Le Guess Who? Line-Up Revealed

With a little over one month to go the full line-up for this year's Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht has today been revealed.

Additionally the 24-hour Dronefest element on Saturday November 22 has been augmented by the inclusion of Emptyset; Julianna Barwick; Carla Bozulich and John Eichenseer; Dirk Serries; Ashraf Sharif Khan; House of Cosy Cushions and Heartsnatcher as well as a program presented by Gaudeamus with Machinefabriek + Fox String Quartet; 7090 performing works by La Monte Young & James Fulkerson; Gareth Davis & Shivers performing works by Peter Ablinger, Robert Ashley & Alvin Lucier; Naomi Sato playing the Japanese sho and Wilbert Bulsink & Koen Kaptijn's Staring Contest Part I-IV.
Further to the live music this year's art element comes from the photo expo: "From Where I Am: A Decade of Touring Bands in Istanbul". Between 2004 and 2014, Aylin Güngör made photographs of bands on tour in her hometown Istanbul. The bands explore the city and hang out in their free time between concerts. Güngör’s work includes photos of artists playing Le Guess Who? this year such as Carla Bozulich and tUnE-yArDs.
General info
Le Guess Who? 2014 takes place November 20-23 in different venues and locations across the city of Utrecht, The Netherlands. In the daytime on November 22 and 23, the Mega Record and CD Fair will take place at the Jaarbeurs convention centre in Utrecht. The fair is internationally renowned for its enormous supply of vinyl, cd’s, and pop memorabilia.
Tickets for Le Guess Who? can be purchased at the event website. 4-Day Festival Passes are €100; Day tickets forThursday & Sunday are €30; day tickets for Friday & Saturday are €35.
