Skinny Living reveal new single ahead of upcoming EP

  • Published in News

Skinny Living are set to release their new single 'Only I' this Friday August 26 via the band's own label Orange Room Records.

The track is taken from the Wakefield based band's debut EP, III, also out this Friday.

The track reflects on a time when vocalist Ryan Johnston found himself in a tricky situation with some local hard men and someone placed a gun in front of him and said, "This is how you sort this." "I thought, 'I am not that person,'" he remembers. "It was a major wake up call, but the song's about how easy it is for any of us to go down that rabbit hole, and find ourselves in these sort of situations."

You can listen to 'Only I' below:

Miamigo Reveals New Video For 'Forever'

  • Published in News

Miamigo have revealed a new video for track 'Forever'.

The striking visual (created by the band), reflects their own aesthetic, giving a nod to the 80s pop that influences their music but with a dark twist.

Speaking on the video, the band said: “The idea is to represent the belief of nothing lasting forever.

"The video centres around a young lady looking to buy something tangible that'll last with the couple on the shopping channel representing some surreal unrequited love.

"We're very much inspired by '80s/'90s slasher movies and we felt a dark ending was necessary to add a little twist to the vibrance.”

You can watch the video below:

The band recently performed at huge venues across Europe after joining electro duo Hurts on their European tour as well as touring the length of the UK with up-and-coming US outfit Transviolet.

Upcoming Live Dates
