Demob Happy Announce New Single 'Succubus'

  • Published in News

With their tour of the UK now firmly behind them, scuzzy fuzz-mongers Demob Happy are looking ahead at their next single release, the suitably dark and degenerate 'Succubus'. With early press from the likes of NME and Radio 1 championing the band almost from the get-go, it's obvious that these four lads (hailing from Brighton by way of Newcastle) are on the cusp of breaking through to the big time. Whilst the droning vocal delivery, and the cataclysmic anarchy on which it's lazily draped might not appeal to everyone, the inherent similarities to Beck will certainly appeal to many, making it easy to see the track going down particularly well in a live environment.

Though their own headlining tour might well have come to a close, the band are taking a break just long enough for the full extent of 'Succubus' to be felt, before they're back on the road in support of Superfood and Honeyblood on the NME New Breed tour, tickets for which are available here.
