For three years Joy Ike’s doting fans have waited for the arrival of her fantastic new studio album All Or Nothing. Here at Muso's Guide, we thought this would be a brilliant time to catch up with her, delve into her world of music, and find out what the wonderful lady has been up to for the past few years!

Whilst in London earlier this month I had the pleasure of meeting up with two of the four members of San Cisco - guitarist/lead vocalist Jordi Davieson and drummer/vocalist Scarlett Stevens, after the last gig of their recent UK tour. First interview anxieties on my part quickly vanished in the company of the incredibly friendly duo, and we got talking in more detail about the band and their recent experiences on the road.

February 25 saw the release of Woodpigeon's fourth studio album, Thumbtacks & Glue (Fierce Panda), the first full-length release since 2010's Die Stadt Musikanten. The new album is an accomplished affair from the off: melodically confident and unusual, shot through with gorgeous vocal harmonies that nestle in your head and refuse to budge - perfect for repeated headphones listening on walks around this increasingly spring-like world.

Geordie duo Smoove & Turrell have been rocking the contemporary soul scene for some time now. Through the debut album Antique Soul in 2009, established producer, DJ and soulful remixer Smoove found his perfect complement in the impassioned tones of John Turrell – resulting in a vintage sound with an edge sharpened in contemporary reality, both musically and lyrically.
